About Me

Frontend/Backend Developer

My name is Bhaavan Bhullar and I am a 20-year-old student at McMaster University, studying Finance and Computer Science. I am continually working on new initiatives and projects to better understand myself and the society around me. I am currently working on developing my skills in the front and backend side of development through various languages and projects, recently I just completed building a ChatGPT-based AI resume builder that is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Playstore. I am also currently part of the DeGroote Financial Investment Council as a Senior analyst on the resources team, which deals with metals and mining stocks in particular.

As for my work experience, I have completed a summer internship as an analytics software developer at RBC Wealth Management where I utilized Python, SQL, Plotly, Dash, Selenium and Javascript to solve various problems my team was dealing with. I am also going to be joining TD Securities next summer as a Global Markets Summer Associate within Sales and Trading. I have also co-founded a health Initiative focused on providing students at Bishop Ryan High School with the necessary resources and information to support themselves during Covid-19.

MapWorks.io is a CRUD web application that allows a user to add, remove and edit pin points on a map that show where the userhas worked out, which type of workout they completed and how long they worked out for. Oracles of the World

Oracles of the Sea is a CRUD application that serves as a booking agency that allows users to book, edit and cancel thier booking using a secure confirmation key and stores all values in a text file. The technologies that were utilized in building this application are C#, .NET, WinForms, Visual Studio

Emplomanage

Emplomanage is a CRUD application that allows the a user/boss of a company to easily manage thier employee hiring,removeal and salary updates. It uses a text file to store each employee and allows for editing using the employee number. The technologies that were utilized in building this application are C#, .NET, WinForms, TXT, Visual Studio

Rolling Homes

Rolling Homes is a web application that displays new homes that just landed on the public markets, utilizing the rapid.api we are able to display houses and there specs. The technologies that were utilized in building this application are React.js, Next.js, Chakra UI, and Rapid.api. This app is currently in progress and should be completed soon

Web Scrapper

The Amazon Web Scrapper is a scrapping tool that allows for the user to gather data on products such as how many lsitings, price, sales rank, and reviews of the product in a JSON format. The technologies that were utilized in building this application are JavaScript, Node.JS, Express.JS and Rapid.api. This app is a work in progress and should be completed soon
